Everything is designed and produced in the UK, with a focus on getting it right from the outset, not fixing it later. Steve Tomkins – Co-Founder: Steve brings over 35 years of experience across packaging, branding, production and commercial development. He focuses on understanding the brand, product and market, using that insight to define the right packaging solution and ensure it works within real-world budgets. His experience spans everything from simple cartons through to complex marketing packaging, always balancing ambition with what is achievable.
He leads the direction of the business across website, SEO, AI visibility, marketing and business development, with a clear focus on driving enquiries and long-term growth. As co-founder of Fantastic Mr. Box, Steve defines what should be created, ensuring every project is commercially viable, appropriate for the brand and realistic to deliver. He also spends the winter working remotely from Thailand, using the quieter period to recharge, reset and enjoy some time away.
Adam Swain – Co-Founder: Adam brings a strong background in packaging design, production and structural development, with a focus on how packaging performs in reality. He specialises in turning concepts into buildable solutions, working closely with materials, construction and manufacturing to ensure everything is practical, efficient and fit for purpose. His experience spans simple cartons through to complex builds, where structure, protection and presentation must work together.
He produces 3D visuals so clients can see how packaging will look with artwork applied before production, and manages production, call-offs and assembly to ensure projects are delivered accurately and consistently. As co-founder of Fantastic Mr. Box, Adam ensures every project is built properly and functions as intended, bringing a grounded and measured approach to the work.
